2009 sunflowers on the two acres on the bluff in front of the buildings.

What a day, Josh Gale, in the photo, owner of this skidder was first day on the job and had this bad luck.
We are all fortunate that no one got hurt and the fire started on the cleared site for the log landing. Had the fire occured in the woods we would have had a major tragedy as you can see that the woods is torn from the wind.
We had to call the fire department out a second time as it re ignited internaly and a diesel fuel line broke.
Josh and his Dad were devastated as they had no insurance and stayed all day to protect the forest.

Century old Persimmon long being sawed with ban saw. Log was sawed into 3 " by random width 16 ft long with bark and will be sticked and air dried.

This is the Ozark Mountain Yellow Cactus. It is unique in that it blooms in clusters and blooms opens in early morning and is open to polination flowers and the flower is gone by the next morning.
